1. Salon 11:11
Salon 11:11 is a private studio suite on Pacific Coast Highway run by one stylist, Justice Pallais. There is no front desk and no one else's appointment happening in the next chair: every visit is one-on-one from consultation to finish. The focus is lived-in color, balayage and blonding, alongside cuts, blowouts and hair extensions in five methods. Justice is a South Bay native and a Bellami certified extension artist.
Best for: anyone who wants a calm, private appointment and a stylist who knows their hair from one visit to the next, especially for color and extensions. The $60 Sunday Signature Blowout is a low-pressure way to try it first.

Beck + Brix describes itself as an upscale boutique salon in the heart of downtown Hermosa Beach, with a sister home store a block up Pier Avenue.
